After studying 3D animation and graphic design, Ryan began his career as a motion designer, creating network promos and show packages for clients including Discovery, Science Channel, Investigation Discovery, and Dish Network.

In 2011, he co-founded a post-production and motion design studio. As the creative director and head of animation, Ryan built lasting partnerships with brands like Ford, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Bravo, Travel Channel, and National Geographic.

After six successful years, he sold his stake in the studio and relocated his growing family to the Bay Area. As a freelance creative director, he went on to lead projects for HBO, Adult Swim, Spectrum, and others.

In 2018, Ryan joined Cisco as Creative Director of CEO Communications. In this client-side role, he draws on his background in visual storytelling and conceptual design to help Cisco’s executive leadership team craft bold, engaging narratives for a global audience.
